Edinburgh’s Easter Play is an annual, open air, promenade theatre production, telling the story of Jesus. It is different every year.
This year’s play is called “Unbroken” which is a new retelling of the Easter story with a community cast from all walks of life. It also has BSL integrated into the play.
“Unbroken” takes a fresh look at Jesus’ relationships with disabled people and what that means for us today. The play celebrates how he spent time with people marginalised by society, bringing a message of love, purpose, inclusion and community that is as relevant today as it was then.
It takes place on Saturday April 4th at 2pm in West Princes Street Gardens and details can be found on the website – www.easterplay.org.
